1.0 Introduction

 

Assalamualaikum, my name is Nadia Irina Nafisah and I am eighteen years old. I have been a student of the Diploma in Business programme at Taylor's University for a year and a half since the 31ST of March, 2014. The programme that I am currently pursuing consists of six semesters, with a total of twenty-eight modules and a whole semester of internship that is taking place for my fifth semester now.

 

As for me, being able to go for an internship was one of the main reasons on why I have decided to pursue the two-years Diploma in Business programme instead of the one-year Foundation in Business programme because I believe that it is very important and can act as an advantage for me when finding for a job in the future compared to those without any internship or working experience. Apart from that, I also believe that it gives me the chance to further develop and improve on both my cognitive and non-cognitive skills, which will definitely help me in the future by meeting the needs and wants of my future employer when recruiting me as one of their employees.

 

The purpose of my internship e-portfolio is to share my internship journey with you, from the very start towards the very end, where I will be sharing my working experience with Zalora, which is the largest online fashion destination in Asia that is based in our very own country, Malaysia, for a duration of twelve weeks from the 3RD of August to the 2ND November.
